One week left till break, but not stopping yet stuck_out_tongue Do remember this patreon is on hold for December, so you won't be and charged at the start of the month. I already have some ideas for some interesting renders to do during December, so it should be fun.

On the dev side, work has been done on all fronts. As for counts it is now up to 115 renders and a 3 animations. More of those will come in time. Current section doesn't really warrant many.

Poll for the monthly items will be out sometime in the next few days as well.

Past that I am not sure what else to say... Oh, I know!

Happy Halloween!
As voted, the Egyptian theme won. I'll be honest that I am glad it did :slight_smile: Not everything has to be dark and scary, we have enough of that lately. The more lewd shots I will post for the Ghost tier and up right after this. Hope you guys enjoy.

As for the game, it is now in proof, so release will be very soon.

I won't take up much of your time tonight, just make sure you enjoy tonight as best as you can. I am just going to have myself a nice dinner and watch some horror movies, I am thinking Evil Dead and Army of Darkness :slight_smile: Need to enjoy the ravings of Bruce Campbell lol.

Holy crap what a week! So, I pushed myself this entire week and I have hit a point where I am feeling good at the progress. Only a couple scenes left to write up and then off to proof! So, that should go there in just a few days.
While that is going on, I will finish up the last renders and animations then send it off for beta testing next weekend!
Also I totally forgot about the customs last week! I think though, I will go with a Halloween theme and will probably save it till after release at this point which will land it around that time.
We are almost there!

Well, I think crunch time is now upon us :P

This week I was focused on writing primarily with just adding a few new pick up shots, animations, and a couple animation fixes, so not that much has changed on that front.

I suspect it will be around 1000 renders and a bit over 60 animations when is all said and done. I still have a good deal on the writing side to do but hopefully I can get it ready for proof around next weekend then do the rest of the heavy lifting on the render and animation front while that is happening.

I also plan on setting up this months poll for customs this week. Still need to decide on some ideas for that though :P

A long road on this one but we are getting close :)

It is starting to hit that point where things are coming together! Again a good week, I went back and actually re-rendered one small scene since I was not happy with it but past that the rest is looking good.

So with the removal of the redone scene there are currently 881 renders, then along with that 52 animations with one currently running and another three created and just waiting for a window to be rendered out. Also wrote out three full scenes this week with more on the way.

Don't expect a giant number difference next week. I have begun creating the most complex scene yet in the game so each render is far more work than on average. Also I want to add a good deal of animations and such which will eat up a lot of render time freeing me to work on the build proper.

Oh, and the battery on my laptop that I use for post work decided it wanted to swell up! So, that was fun stuck_out_tongue Managed to remove it and get a new one this week, so was just a nice scare to keep me on my feet lol.

And another good week. Great to be back in full swing! I'll keep this one short since I want to start customs soon :P

Sitting at 812 renders, and 48 animations with another 5 on the docket waiting to be rendered off. More writing done consistently all week as well.

As I said above I will be starting the custom renders very shortly. Probably do a decent sized set, so expect those most likely Monday.

I am not sure what else to say stuck_out_tongue Oh I know!

Okay, posting this just after a fire alarm, lol. Figured like a good break point :P

This was a very good week, a lot done on all fronts. Really nice to finally have all that move stuff finally behind me. Now sitting at 730 renders 44 animations with another 4 also setup but still need to be rendered. I also did hours of post work today that I had neglected for the past while, so nice to get that out of the way. Also, back in the full swing on the writing front as well.
So yes, very good week Finally back to normal!
Going to do the poll tomorrow for this months custom set as well, so be on the lookout for that. Going to put the side characters against up on that one.
I'm not sure what else to say lol. I think I will enjoy a beer :P

Okay so, game wise this is certainly not the best update, but I did what i could since last time. First, move is done and everything went well. System is back up and running as of Thursday.
Before I left I tried to get some animation fixes in since I could take the time to do that while packing and such, so I fixed four different animations.
There was a few days where I had no internet so in that time I hammered out a number of scenes as well on the writing front.
So, now for this update there are 650 renders, 40 animations, and a bunch more writing done. Still playing catch up, but hopefully things will start moving faster now that I am finally re-situated.
Oh yeah, I have air conditioning!

Alright, back in the thick of things! Steam release certainly ate up some time, certainly added a ton of stress, but at the end of the day I am really happy with how all things turned out.

I did take a few days off right after the release because I basically just crashed in relief.

Now, let's give some details we were are at now. Sitting at 520 renders, along with 32 animations as well as about 8 on deck, ready to roll. I normally would be pumping those out over night, but the heatwave kinda forced me to hold off on that since I sleep right next to my computer which also pumps out a massive amount of heat.

Also in a few days I will be doing the next poll for the monthly custom renders. I was going to do it earlier in the week but there are a lot of new folks here and wanted to give everyone a heads up about those before it starts. For everyone that is new, first thank you for the support, and second, each month I do a custom set of renders that are voted on by you guys. Typically it is three or four 4k images, each month I try to change up the theme and the characters, and they will always have sfw and nsfw images in the set.

Also to let you guys know I am in the middle of a move, nothing crazy, but I just needed a slightly larger space with air conditioning. That happens at the very end of the month, so hopefully it goes smoothly.

Dev Update #56
So Steam release is fast approaching, a lot of work was done on that side this week. This includes adding items for the guide as well as a ton of balance changes which makes the game play out much more smoothly and naturally. Still doing testing there but it will be available here soon.
I did not do much on the animation front this week since we had a pretty crazy heat wave and sleeping next to my render machine while it renders overnight is not a happy time when it is this hot lol. Still, managed to get a bunch done game wise, even with all the administrative stuff that had to be done. Animation count is the same but for renders we are now at 412. The image posted above is what I am currently working on, which has new environment that is looking pretty nice.
Besides the custom renders this month I also am planning to do another comic, so expect a poll for that mid month.

Dev Update #55
Again a busy week, though I did have a ton of personal stuff I also had to take care of. Don't worry, just the usual things you have to do in life.
Still, managed to get a good amount done. Sitting at 332 renders, along with 28 animations with 9 more on on deck waiting to be rendered out. Another thing I have been doing is making a full blown walkthrough. Doing it has let me see some balance issues I never saw before. It is going to take a bit to complete because I want it to be really nice looking, so I have been doing it all in InDesign which I have never used before, so that has been interesting.
I will most likely be adding that on steam and set it up so that to the $5 tier and up have access. Hopefully I can have that done by end of month.
We also have the custom poll going. Once that is done I will do those up so expect them either Monday or Tuesday.

Now, this was a productive week!
So to start, we are now sitting at 190 renders. That is relatively on par with what I have been doing, but on the animation front I went a tad crazy. 15 are now done. One of those was also a replacement for one I was not happy with, so I completely redid it from scratch. Then on top of that I have 7 others created and setup to go, just need the cycles to actually render them.
I also added a bit more polish to the game by adding a scene replay checklist. Basically, when you get a scene it will show check boxes for all the extra unlock-able content in that specific scene. The below screenshot will show what I mean.

Dev Update #51
Alright, first update after release. I hope those who have had a chance to play enjoyed the latest release :slight_smile: Tomorrow $5 will get it as well.
I may do a couple small balance tweaks to it, but nothing major.
As for the image above that is a fun render :p What I have done so far I am not comfortable with as of yet to show due to spoilers.
As for progress I only just started the other day after taking a couple days off, but I did manage to get almost 30 renders done as well as some writing. Currently, I am doing the Canada Day and July 4th stuff. If you know me, I like to have a lot of fun with those two. Then tomorrow I will get into it more then do the monthly custom stuff which I hope to have over to you guys Monday night.
I always like to take this time after a release to play around with customs and such, it is a great change of pace and allows me to try out techniques and see if I can apply them in game.
Wish I had more to say progress wise but unlike last time I am not walking around like a zombie after all of it :)

Holy crap, 50 updates! I feel that timing syncs up pretty well.

Now, for what you are all waiting for. Expect release in a matter of days so fixers and up will get it this month. In the almost three years that I have been doing this, I feel this update is the one I am most proud of. I know the first month or so on this chapter I was a bit slow getting my feet back under me, but these last couple months have been great. I said before that this is the most work I have done on a single chapter, and I hope it shows.

The file size for this update got big, really big. Therefore, I have made an upgrade patch, so if you have a clean install of 0.6 you can update it without downloading the full thing. This has been tested and is working.

Also, don't worry, I haven't forgotten about custom renders this month. I will put out a poll in a couple days. As per usual after a release I will take it easy for a few days, so it will mostly be custom work, some admin type stuff, and outlining chapter 8.

I am super excited to see what you guys think when it lands.

Dev Update #49
Almost there! A couple days behind where I wanted to be at, but that shouldn't be a big issue.

This week was a lot of complex animations, along with redoing a couple I was not happy with. As for renders I feel I am basically done apart for maybe a few pickup shots. The rest was writing writing writing. I have 2 scenes left to get the dialogue into, and just a couple more animations. After that is finalizing the build and sending to proof.

I was hopeful last week that the beta would have been ready for tomorrow, but looking more like Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. After that we need to let them proof and test until they are ready. The release can happen once that is all done. So, barring anything crazy the release will be this month. I will begin the next chapter along with the monthly custom renders while the current version is being tested.

This update easily had the most work put into it out of all of them so far, so I hope you guys enjoy it. Around 830 renders which should not change much, 53 animations and expect a couple more, and the script for this one is large.

Can't wait to get this one out there for you guys.

Dev Update #48

Hey guys another update, and again, another good week with progress on all fronts.
We are now over 800 renders and at 48 animations. Expect the render count to not get that much larger since I am almost done with those for this update. As for that large complex scene I said I was saving till the end, I decided to start that last week and have already made good strides into it.

Much of this upcoming week will be fine tuning things, more writing and some very complex animations. I am hopeful that around this time next week I will have a workable build to go into beta a few days after. Here is a frame from one of the animations I setup the other day.So yeah, getting closer and closer :slight_smile: It's all coming together nicely.
Oh, and sorry for the non sexy preview render. Was all plot items this week. Mind you I am certain many will argue that it's Henry so of course it's sexy lol (Tommy).

Nothing crazy for this update other than saying it was a very productive week. We are now sitting at 547 renders, 31 animations, and a large chunk of writing done. All the renders this week we're done in multiple custom environments as well, so they are looking really damn nice. Example below.On monday or tuesday I will also be doing the custom render poll for this month. I am thinking Abby for May. Just undecided as of yet for what the options will be, but stay tuned :P
